Sherman Township maintains two cemeteries: Sugar Grove Cemetery and Fountain Cemetery. Sugar Grove is located on Sugar Grove Road a quarter mile east of US 31. Fountain Cemetery is located on the south corners of Fountain and Stephens Roads.

Both cemeteries are maintained and operated by the Township Sexton. For information on lots and to arrange an internment please contact the Sexton.

Records for both are maintained by the Township Clerk. For information on location of individuals buried or lot ownership please contact the Clerk.

Foundations are required for all headstones and can be arranged with the Sexton.

There is no running water at either cemetery. In the summer months the Fountain Fire Department fills a water container at each cemetery. There are no containers
for transporting water to gravesites.
